Blue Snowball Ice mic not working on Linux Mint 17.3?
My Blue Snowball Ice microphone isn't working in Linux Mint 17.3. I don't get this, it is recognized by the OS, as a microphone no less, but does not appear under any audio settings whatsoever. I've tried looking this up but can't find any concrete information on how to get it to work.

Here's what I get when when using lsusb -v:

Being picked up by the system, most likely implies ALSA is configuring it right, but Pulse failing to connect to the device... I'd start by checking if ALSA is configuring it right with

cat /proc/asound/pcm

and see if the device is listed there. Next try to see if you can configure it with alsamixer, now, depdending on how does ALSA picks the mic, you may need to specify the card like so:

alsamixer -c 1

Assuming the mic is detected as the second sound device (counting from 0, hence -c [card] 1)

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be showing up with that.
