[SOLVED][Proton] Running a Windows .exe in a Steam Play environment

Hey there,
I'd like to run a Windows .exe (a patch not available in another format like ZIP) in the right "environment" as the game. Is there some kind of prefix (like in wine) for Proton which allows me to specify where this particular .exe file should be executed?

You can probably find the information that you need in this thread. The Proton default environment has its own prefix, and each game run through Proton has their own prefix too.
