Oh, btw, Minecraft with the Steam Controller is awesome.
on normal linux distros you can search for some launch parameter that might help keep focus where it has to be...
...and there is SC Controller, which implements systemwide support for the steam controller (and others) through its alternative config interface (meaning it won't exactly work like steam game controller configs, but you'll be able to do some customization too).
Are there any configuration options in the menu I should check? I've had them all checked and back again so i'm not sure which are right and which aren't. It's not a Steam controller but an Nvidia Shield working as an XBox360.
I have the game installed as a non-steam game and the controller works great for other non-steam games too. It seems to leave the big picture mode and go to the minecraft launcher which loses the controller support.
Other people say it works perfect with the steam controller.
like?
hint: check if it's available from your linux distro's repositories before grabing a copy from prism's website (same idea as installing from google play store instead of downloading an .apk)
https://prismlauncher.org/download/linux/
2. in steam library, there is an option to add a 3rd-party game/app to the library, and you should be able to select prism launcher from the list of available linux apps if already installed
