Steam download?

Obviously this has been eluded to in other posts, that the game is no longer available on steam, but there's not much concrete information out there. I've looked through Discussion, checked the official forum, googled a bit, and I see nothing really helpful. So does anyone know if or when this game will be returning to Steam? I want to try it, but I'd much prefer to play it on Steam than stand alone. Thanks in advance.

You should still be able to install it by using this URL:

steam://install/221360

Paste it into your browser. (Chrome seems to have issues with it though.)

I thought that was a hoax at first tbh, never seen a URL work to install a removed game. It works, though. Thanks for the link.

The game was removed at the request of SOE. Too many users overloading the servers. Removing from Steam is probably a temporary bandaid until this gets fixed.
