I completely concur. There was an option to use alternate costumes in campaign mode for RE5. Why take that out? Especially since they heavily encourage repeated playthroughs with the massive perk system. Thank god for mods.
I didn't play RE4, but I have seen the Gangster outfit. That one was a little silly, too, but it was also something someone might plausibly wear, in a modern setting. At the very least it was stylish, which is much more than I can say for a lame pirate costume, or samurai kimono with a non-functioning sword. Surprised they didn't make Jake a Viking, and put Piers in a toga.
I'm also disappointed that Ada's Alt. costume was not red.
Agreed. I'd love to play as race car driver Piers, just for the hell of it.
