How can I download RE6 new fix patch ?

How can I download RE6 new fix patch ? I am steam newbie. Where is it ?

It should automatically download for you. It was around 60mb so check your recent steam downloads to see if it already downloaded.

I have not found any evidence of download patch, I seek over my steam contents like Library, my name tab menus and any tabs, links. I think my steam would not download patch yet.
Because of I am in Japan and my RE6 is japanese version ? much disapointing.

Kind of weird that NA got it before everybody else. But this patch really didn't fix anything, infact it broke some online contectivity issues.

Here's the patch notes.


BUG FIXES
- Fixed cutscene issues with endless loading
- Fixed issues with playable character dying after cutscenes
- Fixed subtitle display problems during split-screen play
- Fixed voice chat volume problems
- Fixed issue with monitor display frequency being reset for each game


Nothing really worthwhile. I expect a big patch to come out on April 2nd since thats when all the other dlcs will be released.

58mb patch just finished dwnloading for me , in uk. started auto.

I don't remember if autodownloading games is default, but you should check your settings for the game to make sure it automatically downloads patches and such. I think you can find the option under properties

Thanks everyone for following this thread.
I checked properties and settings I could see in steam. And I couldn't find any setting such like appearing certain autodowload patches. I made sure that I don't bother any settings to download files.
So I decide to wait to see the coming patch which have big progress on April 2nd.

Now I cannot play co-op with my friends.

I just rebooted Steam and update download started automatically.

Even without the automatic updates turned on, the game should not let you play without updating to the latest version. Simply run the game, if you don't have it then it will begin the download.

If it still aren't sure if you have it:
1) right click your game in steam
2) go to properties
3) local files
4) verify integrity of game cache

This will ensure that all game files are exact to the latest version on steam.
