Whats the secret to the WASD Quick Time Events?

Sorry about such a noob question but the hitting the WASD buttons in order QTE is giving me so much trouble in Mercenaries when i get grabbed. In campaign i do it fine but just can't seem to hit them fast enough on No Mercy Mercs it's pretty annoying.

When one pops up, use both hands. Left hand for ASD, right hand to mash W. That's how I do it, at least.

just hit A S D as fast as you can.... it worked for me no lie

Ignore the W key and just slide across asd over and over again. You will see a sinificant increase in speed if you do.

I just press them all at the same time. It may be a bug, but it works and in Mercenaries, the dogs don't stay on that long at all. :P

I just mash on the keys and I do fine.

Just use A and D, ignore W and S, it still counts as using all of them, but it is about hundred times faster :P

You don't even have to alternate between them like it tells you to do. All you have to do is mash them as fast as you can at the same time. Same with rotating cranks and valves. You don't need to do a circle just mash away.

or buy a logitech keyboard or mouse and set up your own macros :-)

ah, that's definitely my problem then. I thought they had to be pressed sequentially because that's what the picture shows. thanks for the tips people.

use two fingers on one hand to mash A and W while using two fingers on your other hand to mash S and D.

Well i am still having trouble with this. Keep in mind, it's ONLY on No Mercy Mercs when grabbed by one of the higher level boss creatures that i have the problem. Like when i get swarmed by the guy with all the bee's or w/e they are. I simply cannot do the damn WASD fast enough. I have tried all of these tips. The only way i get out of it is if partner comes and helps me. I don't know if this is intended or only a problem with a keyboard or what, but it is so ridiculous.

Has everyone giving tips actually play in No Mercy Mercs to see what i am talking about? I have never had this problem in regular campaign or anything.

Left hand middle finger on A, left hand index finger on S and right hand index finger on D. just tap like a madman.

Do you know how the macro stuff works? I have a logitech mouse and I tried capturing the WASD keys and setting 20ms between each button press/depress and when I hold down the button on my extra mouse button (Logitech was set to repeat the keys typed) it does not seem to do much. It was actually much slower than me mashing :/ my hands are kind of getting tired of mashing so I thought this would help alleviate future aches and pains in my hands :p
