Can't get into the game

It keeps on saying "Failed to initilalize Steam" whenever i try to play it.
I tried basically every possible thing i can do, i restarted my computer, redownloaded the game, i get the latest graphic driver.
NOT WORKING
what should i do?
i payed 40 bucks on this game and i don't get anything back from it.

I had this same problem but it is a simple fix.

Close steam
Right click on the steam icon
Go to poperties
Go to the compatibility tab
Click "Run this program as an administrator"
Click "apply"
Click "ok"
Launch steam
Launch RE6 and enjoy

It should start with no failed to initialize steam error

I don't care if I'm reviving an old discussion but it has to be done for this.

You are a god! If Google had given me this link several reinstallation attempts ago I wouldn't had have wasted hours watching spanish youtube videos with bad music trying to understandwhat they are doing to fix it.
