How to farm skill points?

Ada's story is a bit of a headache so trying to build a decent skill perk for her by going back through others campaigns and finishing single chapters via Chapter Select.

I assume skill points are only awarded at the successful end of a chapter?

Am I replaying a finished chapter in vain? Can I get SPs by repeating only one previously finished chapter as opposed to having replay a character's whole story again?

Skill points are saved during a savepoint. You can replay a chapter unlimited times.
You can also play other modes besides campaign. You can get skill points there too.

I recommend Jake chapter 4, checkpoint 3 for farming skill points. Play on no hope difficulty, you won't waste any ammo either. You can get a total of 7000-8000 skill points there, depending on how many crates drop skill points. Make sure to open the 2 chests for 2000 and 5000 points. The checkpoint comes up after the first door, so you can play this little part over and over fast. No hope will double the skill points, so you'll get a total of 15,000-16,000 skill points and it can be done under a minute.

Check the guides, there's one for SP farming. IIRC Ada nets you 24k SP in a bit more time than Jake.

I knew about that Ada part long before that guide was made, and the Jake part I recommended is better and faster. That Ada part works out if you're looking for action too but if you want speed, then that Jake part works perfect.

You should play Mercenaries :) I have 700 000 free points because I played it. + I have all persk unlocked :)

Yup, mercenaries, and especially No mercy is a good way to get skill points. Myself, once I got up to 100k points in one game :)
