yes, yet you need TWO controller pads. I have heard this, so look into it more. I only have one as I threw all my other ones out, which is fine as I only play online really. To be honest it's almost best to get a an extra PC and see if FAMILY MODE will work for that so you can use one copy of the game (pretty sure you can). Once again double check all this stuff as I have never tried either of those things with this title, just thoughts I hope are good for extra info for you.

As far as family mode is concerned it will not work.

As for split screen, yes the game has split screen, its actually listed on the store page.
Yeah, they must be right about the family mode thing, just remembered it creates an account for you on RE servers, so that would limit it to one account per game...so you would have to rebuy the game again (on another steam account of coarse) for this to be a thing...also the other part is correct as well, it is listed on the store page, yet what is unlisted is the fact you need to have TWO controllers to get that happening. Best make sure they are compatible.

No family sharing doesn't work because you must "online" to play RE6. You can't both be online when family sharing the game (only one person on the family share can play at a time) Normally to get around this the Original owner switches steam to offline mode to play the game while another family shares it. However to play online together you must both be in steam online mode which would make it impossible to family share it.

just mentioned that already, yet ty for clarification
Well you don't need 2 controllers to play split screen, but its recomended.
oh, that's what I heard, that you HAVE to have them...so you are saying you can configure the keys for ONE keyboard...you could be right, yet I would double check it before commiting. QUITE sure you can not use ONE pad and keyboard/mouse, almost for sure.
