I can't take screenshots?

I press my "screenshot key" (F12) and Nothing happens I also, changed the key and nothing! is it normal? Because I want to screenshot some badass moments but it doesnt let me take it idk if this is a problem or not but the thing is that I just want to take screenshots!

Mine works, not sure what you're issue is, do you have Steam enabled for the game in the properties? (Do you see the 'shift + tab' Steam msg pop-up when the game is loading up?). May also want to check if you accidentally may have changed the screenshot key in the settings to a different key. Otherwise, not sure why it wouldn't work for you.

Mine works, not sure what you're issue is, do you have Steam enabled for the game in the properties? (Do you see the 'shift + tab' Steam msg pop-up when the game is loading up?). May also want to check if you accidentally may have changed the screenshot key in the settings to a different key. Otherwise, not sure why it wouldn't work for you. :GrenadeKey:

Only other thing is, try it a few times in a row, when I first was doing it, it had a bit of a delay. I hope this works... if not, afraid I'm out of ideas. :/ Good luck.

Huh funny, I just bought this game and came here to see why the Steam Overlay wasn't working. Guess it's an issue on my side. I'll try compatibility mode!

Huh funny, I just bought this game and came here to see why the Steam Overlay wasn't working. Guess it's an issue on my side. I'll try compatibility mode!

Can't take any screenshots either. Everything on Steam overlay works fine.

Quake 4's default screenshot key is also F12, so that might be conflicting. Try changing either the Q4 screen shot key or Steams.

I can't take screenshots either, I'm running Win 8.1 with no problems in gameplay and all settings appear to be OK. I'll check the 'Steam Overlay' and see if something is wrong there.

Tried Steam Overlay last night and it does not work, also do not get the overlay info whilst game is loading. Checked game properties and Steam Overlay is allowed, box is ticked.

Still no screenshots.

Has anyone figured this out yet? Freaking mystery.. I'm on windows 7 ultimate, Steam overlay works fine on Quake 4 but no Steam (F12) screenshots or in-game Quake 4 screeshots (I've bound it to various different keys)
