Is it a bug in the demo or is the performance that bad?

I just now discovered these games. Can someone clear things up for me, please? Are Book of Demons and Hellcard both part of the same universe? Which game is considered the, "main game", if so? Thank you.

Am I missing some long-term element or is the warrior I chose at the start pathetic compared to the 2 companions I got. He could barely use any mana/cards per turn while both companions were able to chain a lot and did about 90% of the damage.

so far i am loving the game, but me and my friends have run into some issues with multiplayer 1. sometimes when starting the game one of us will go straight in while the other two will be stuck at the disconnect/reconnect screen 2. when we have a disconnection issue halfway through a fight, one of us at random will not be sent to the disconnect screen and we end up having to retreat from the fight to get them back in 3. when multiple people attack a low health enemy (low enough that the second attack isn't...
