NES (Retro) Rpg sound effects
Hello there, i was wondering if anyone have or know how to get a bunch of sound effects like classic Rpgs, i'm looking for the same kind of SE that Rtp have but on Retro style.

Does sound effects have copyright? can i use them on a commercial game?

I remember hearing that Sond Effects copyright is vague, but its safe to just not use them in that case. I was able to find these, but I have no idea if they're royalty free or not.

Here's a really cool online sound-effect generator I found which makes retro-ey 16bit or 8bit sound effects. You can experiment with it to make lots of nice sound effects. When you get one you like, you can click the "Export" button to download and save to your computer. Oh yes, all the sound-effects you make are free to use in any project as well (even Commercial projects). Cheers! :)

If you don't mind spending a few bucks, there's a pack here http://www.sebastianbendermusic.com/8-bit-blast/ that I liked quite a bit. It even included some music.

General rule of thumb, if you are not specifically told you CAN use them, then you can't. In this case you can.
