Differences with the GOG version ?

V curious about this too - does anyone know of any reason to get this over the GOG version?

Historically GOG versions are almost always better, it is "Good Old Games" after all. As far as I can tell from booting it up this is exactly what you would get if you got the game off an abandonware site, no steam or multiplayer integration so probably a hard pass if you already have the GOG version.

Much like the GOG version, this is the original game with the two INI tweaks you need to make it run on a modern system. I have not gone checksum by checksum, but it seems that way.

I believe this is the final release that was released physically on "The Laptop Collection"
