Our HTPC is hooked up to a 57" LED HDTV, not a small computer monitor.
I would have bought the game on PS3 but i prefered PC since it was supposed to have split screen. But no, nothing !!!!
Now what? Buy the game on both platforms? Or will they enable it some time soon?
@RalphRoberts I play with my brodther and/or my girlfriend. And PC splitscreen is pretty much like on the consoles
Ah, you missed the glorious gaming days of the 1980s and 1990s! ;) But, to be honest, I never enjoyed splitscreen even then and I ended up buying a second gaming computer in the mid 90s so that I could play DOOM with friends over a LAN (well, sort-of-LAN, via a serial cable).
But yes, one person would typically use a keyboard and the other player a joystick. In the 8/16-bit days, home computers also frequently had two joystick ports or supported splitters so that both players could use a joystick (did this when I played with friends in the Amstrad and Atari ST era). Same as with consoles.

i preordered back when steam indicated there would be split screen support
Not providing a refund would be nothing short of criminal. I'm guessing it won't be an issue, but if for some reason you don't receive a refund, file an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

What a ♥♥♥♥ move.
If they really removed it and it's not a typo in the description, they really screw this up.
