Ubisoft Game Launcher error code 2?
Everytime i try to launch this game, i get the "Ubisoft Game Launcher was not found. Try re-installing the game. Error code 2" I spent 50 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollars on this game for it to not even work. I tried to install the ubisoft game launcher with the download in the support folder, it says i have a newer version, i tried googling a solution, no luck, and i tried reinstalling the whole damn game, yet still no luck. I even tried verifing the cache, i looked for the ubisoft game launcher folder, its not on either of my drives. i tried going to Uninstall/Add Programs in the control panel, it doesnt show up! Anyone have a solution?

Same problem and I found the solution : Go to register editor ("Regedit" in command invit). in edit menu clic on "search" and enter "gameLauncher" and next. Delete manualy all elements corresponding with "Ubisoft" signature. (F3 to find next). When is't done, reinstall far cry 3. It will run ! Good game, dude.
This worked for me : Download directly Uplay at ubisoft site (http://uplay.ubi.com/fr-FR/) and install it. It will download the latest version in you will not have to reinstall the game.

Hi there, if possible can you make sure you are currently running the latest version of the Uplay client which you can find more details of here.[support.ubi.com]

Once this has been updated you may also need to make sure this is running in administrator mode and also verify your game files before launching your game. You can find more information on how to do this along with other troubleshooting steps in the following FAQ.[support.ubi.com]

Can you make what said a little more dumb friendly?
1) open task manager, (Win key + X) find the following process: UbisoftGameLauncher.exe, and end the process.

2) After that, go to add \ remove programs in your windows control panel

(press win key + X select apps and features .. look on the right side and select Programs and features) .

select uninstall UPlay and then exit once its done

3) Download and reinstall Uplay PC from https://uplay.ubi.com , as this will update the client to the latest version ..... then reboot your PC

4) Launch the game again.

Geeze.. Solid info - but posts Circa 2012 ?? - I guess it's one way to address the
continuing problem. - You'd think that steam would at least include instructions for
updating Uplay in their DL.
