times change as do operating systems and CPU core counts ,, this game is old and originally shipped with WINDOWS XP support for a dual core CPU and direct x 10 cards were brand new that had a whopping 512 meg of v ram
there are no teams working on a title this old to update it
so yea your gonna have to use work arounds on new hardware ..sorry
you choose to skip it ...fine .. no one here cares
move on and go play far cry 5 or 6
it works fine here with WIN 10 intel 7600 k and my EVGA rtx 3060
and plays better then it did when it shipped ... with win XP and my old dual core 6600 Pentium and a asus 512 meg 8600 GT series vid card
As I mentioned before, I played older games then FC3 and worked properly. I played Fc3 and 4 last year and had no issues and Ubisoft as a 'great company' will shrug their shoulders and move on. So what you say about core counts and stuff like that do not make sense in my eyes.
The only old game I know has issues with new OS or videos cards is Crysis and Alone in the Dark, but those were exceptions.
But your answer is welcomed, even thou a bit rude but is ok :)
thats good to know.. gonna have to check that out. thanks
