Is far cry 3 not playable on Windows 11?

It launches and crashes directly no error message except couldnt load resource files re-installing this program may fix the problem i did that 3 times already and did every fix there was:( pls help me.

for me it crashes randomly, ill be driving or something and my game freezes and crashes

1. open the folder of fc3
2. go to properties on the "farcry3.exe"
3. change the compatibility mode to windows 7
4. Enjoy :-)

It will crash randomly, usually after missions that have cutscenes.

I also had crashes in the game, but I'm still playing normally :)

One simple thing that helped me was turning off MSAA in settings.

last time I played this was 2015. Hard to believe Micro$haft keeps on kllling our games from the past.
