But... the point is WANTING them to do nothing. Let the game stay in a stable state into perpetuity to allow mods to flourish and never break again.

because that extra click were unnecesary. the idea of platforms like steam is to not needing to have launchers for the games. it also raises the question of why is it needed to have a launcher now if we were fine without it before

Seriously though, weakest patch notes I've seen in some time, which makes me think this is another BS update involving the crap launcher again

if they arent careing to explain what the update is about and foccusing all the attention on easter egg seeking, there are two options: they are preparing some sort of special event for the reelease of KSP2 (they were slowly hinting the easter egg at the end of the youtube videos they have been releasing about ksp2) or it is about the launcher and they know community isnt really happy when they talk about launchers

If my recently launched science spaceship or an entire savefile breaks because of the update, i will freaking fling this sht outta library and go back to "free" version again

KSP2 next month,. pass redoing all my mods to even go look.

oooh maybe it unlocks a portal to a world where their stupid ass launcher isnt forced into our install
