Second, check the usual suspects. Electrical power, centers of mass and thrust, etc.
Next, look at your design. If it's unusually large and cumbersome, you may want to add some reaction wheel units to the offending stage, preferably near the center of mass. Make sure to test your design once you've done this.
Finally, if none of this helps, you'll have to redesign your spacecraft in an attempt to make it more stable.
Edit: Capt'n Skunky, by any chance are you a Ninja Monkey Pirate?
Also make sure you have a set of batteries, solar cell or generator, you're not in time warp and that your ship didn't brake (F3 will show the failure report if I'm not mistaken). This should fix all your ship problems unless it's a bad design but you'll have to provide screenshots for more help.
Also please fix your keyboard. If your Shift key is broken you'll have problems because your ship will constantly burn the engines at full speed and if your Caps lock key is stick you'll be in the fine tune mode and that means that you'll need to make another allcaps post to tell people THAT YOUR SHIP DOESN'T MOVE LIKE IT SHOULD AND THAT IT'S SLUGGISH.
