Kerbal Space Program

Kerbal Space Program

Liquid engines not firing up...
Okay, maybe you all can help, or maybe it will be in a patch that will come out soon... I have been playing KSP for a lil while now, got in space quite a few times, have things going to other planets on thier own accord, made several craters in the Mun, getting into space has not been a problem, look at some of my screen shots...

Here is the problem: Fired up KSP last night to play a little, and low and behold my liquid engines won't fire up... I even loaded one of the premade rockets KSP has in it's premade files, and again the liquid engines won't fire up... Any solutions?? Should I uninstall, and reinstall?? Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance...

Is the throttle slide going up when you hold shift?
Yep... I've just been playing with Solid rockets for now, until I can get this fixed... I may just reinstall, and hope for the best...

Hmm... If it wasn't for the fact that it's not working on stock I'd say you're using wrong tanks.

Have you installed any mods recently? Maybe old LoX tanks are now just Liquid? Check you have Liquid and Oxidizer in the tanks.

Also confirm using launch stabilisers. Some rockets have been getting "stuck" at LP on lazy builds.

Nope, totally vanilla game... LOL, yeah, I have checked the stabilizers, I EVEN checked them when I loaded the Kerbal Z or X which ever is the premade one... Sorry if this is making you buggy... It definately is me... 9-)

Are you time warping pre-launch? Have you got electric charge? Seen this happen before too.

Failing all this, try verifying your cache.
Failing that, delete the entire folder and re-install.

Failing that.......... ??
Thanks Mav... I appreciate the help...

Nope, the only time I actually time warp is, well, I don't... I know that may sound geeky of me, BUT who else plays this sim right?? LOL...

Check your game/ flight log to see if it reveals anything.
@Sovreign: Huh?? Where is that at?? I will check it and look, unless you are talking about when the flight ends, ther are no malfunctions as such there either if that's what you were reffering to...

F3 will bring it up during flight.
Okay cool, thanks for that, I will check that out with the next Liquid flight...

Sounds weirdly borked though if Kerbal X doesn't work and you clearly know the basics. I would reinstall. You can copy your saves out of there first, they probably won't be the problem.
Yeah, I just saved my files in a safe place, and am going to do a reinstall... Thanks guys... I appreciate all your helps...

Yeah the F3 button. It shows you what you see automatically when the flight ends. It was a stab in the dark. You never know when something weird is happening that will show up in the log.
