1. You're mentioning throttle in docking. You can't use the throttle in that mode. Disregard this if you meant using thrusters.
2. Make sure that your RCS is enabled. I'm fairly sure that it enabled automatically when you used docking mode in the past but it doesn't any more or at least it doesn't on my PC.
3. RCS disables itself when you switch between rotational and linear modes so you have to watch the indicator if the system is on or not. Or at least that's what it was doing to me today.
I don't know if it was just a bug in my game but I had nothing but problems while docking today. I couldn't move half the time and it was always RCS that was turning itself off in my case.
Also could you post a screenshot (F12) of the ship so that we can see it.
Default controls (on an English keyboard, not sure what it'd be on French, sorry):
Roll, pitch and yaw ~ WASD
Slide (or straife sideways/up-down) ~ IJKL
Thrust forward or back ~ HN
So if you want to go forward with RCS, you don't hit shift, you hit H. Dunno if that is your problem but I hope it helps.
Apart from the troubleshooting, I suggest learning to use "LKJI" and "HN" for RCS space usage, as using the docking modes can be tricky. Use the camera mode "Chase" and orient the camera behind the craft's port, then using the control keys you can guide yourself into dock fairly easy.
Two things: that isn't true, caps lock activates the precision controls, which means your internal SAS rotation and RCS rotation and translation lose a lot of their power. This may look as if nothing is happening if you have very few RCS thrusters compared to your mass, but it's pretty useful if you're trying to dock with something tiny.
The second thing is that this thread is over a year old and Rhymane gave a pretty good answer, except what I just said and he omitted that QE are for roll control. The lack of new questions in the meantime seems to imply the problem was solved.
@Rene more forum police, that NO ONE hired you for or asked you to do. Congrats to Captain Dunsel.
I really want to be the bigger man here and stay silent, but WTF is your problem? Question asked by the OP was resolved earlier and someone comes in way later with factually wrong information. Is it wrong of me to say that? If so, is it wrong of you to say I am wrong? Are you, in fact, not the "forum police" by telling me what to do and what not to do?
