Cheat menu? I think you bought the wrong game, mate. Best I can recommend is HyperEdit[kerbalspaceport.com]. Simply HyperEditing yourself around the solar system will leave you pretty bored pretty quickly, but whatever makes you happy. Alt-F12 opens the debug menu, if that's what you're after. It won't 'port you straight to Laythe though.

Edit: If you're considering flying to Laythe off the back of a Mainsail, you're spacing wrong.

just hit Alt and F12 at the same time. debug menu pops up, click the box next to Infinite Fuel. or get Hyperedit. from the spaceport. not sure if there is a hyperedit for 0.20 though. so you will most likely be using the infinite fuel cheat in the debug menu
HyperEdit works fine on 0.20, I used it today with no problems at all. OP, if you're finding fuel efficiency hard, try using the LV-N Atomic Rocket Motor. It's extremely efficient in space and is the standard for any kind of interplanetary travel.
haha stop cheating
Hyperedit can be useful for those extra-large projects that you don't want to bother breaking into smaller pieces and assembling in orbit or for messing around with planetary orbits, but you should really just launch things normally.

The debug menu, accessed via ALT+F12, is not as cheaty, but it's still cheating. It can be useful for just screwing around, but the only thing that is really legitimate in there is allowing part clipping in the editors. It's impossible to build a clean vehicle more complex than a V-2 without it.

As for getting to Laythe... Mainsails on your transitional stage? You just ain't doin' it right. You can get away with two Rockomax 32s and an LT-N for that, and save the mainsails for for your initial ascent stages.

All it allows you to do is allow parts to clip through each other in the editor, utilize infinite primary/RCS/EVA fuel, disable damage, disable/enable gravity and access Whack-a-Kerbal, which is used to shoot small projectiles at stuff. It's mainly debug features more than anything, though parts clipping can be useful even when playing legitimately.
dont cheat
It's called editing your game experience not cheating.
But yeah having way too much fun at this point just mucking about. ;)

Did not know about this TY.
Whack-A-Kerbal, excellent for practicing micrometeorite strikes on a station!

Yes i'm not technicaly cheating because I'm just doing it for a role-play world with a laythe navy and airforce.
you guys just saved the butt of my brave communications satellite and 41 minutes of my time. The probe had its periapsis at 59.600 m when its rcs fuel dried out. Just a short period (somewhat 7 secs) stabilized my orbit
