Help with unmanned rover
I built an unmanned rover, everything works fine as long as it is attached to the command module (the capsule). But as soon as I detach it it stops working. I built the rover using some metal pieces and the rover thingy (the rectangular one). What am I doing wrong?

Did you perhaps run out of electricity? As in, do you have any (or the means to produce it) on the rover?

Make sure it has power storage, power generation, an unmmaned command module, and press cycle to it after detaching with ] and [. If you already have those then I don't know.

When you detach the rover, it becomes a second, independant "flight" in the system.

All independant "flights" need the following or else you cannot control them at all:

- A command core, either manned or robotic.
- If the command core is robotic, then it must be supplied with electricity to function.

Also the wheels for a rover themselves need to be powered. Even if the rover is powered, if the wheels are attached to a part that is not crossfeed capable, that power might not reach the wheels, so you might have control but the wheels are unpowered. (Test this by trying to do other things, like rightclick other components and enable/disable them just to see if you have any control at all.)

Any of the above may be the problem.

Thank you everybody for your answers :). I feel such an idiot: I had forgotten (as you said) to put a command module on it XD

I think that only counts for fuel. Power is not crossfeed dependable as far as I know.
