This games crashes a lot for me.

I keep getting some error stating: Fatal error in gc: GetThreadContext failed

It's happened to me now about 3 times in the past hour. I googled it and found something about disabling virus protection (which i tried) but that definitely didn't fix it.

What the heck is going on here?


pc specs:
win8 x64
16gb ram
GTX670, latest beta drivers

Everything is up to date but the game crashes like a drunk.

You may have to put KSP on your anti virus exeption list....you should find the list in your anti Virus options

Already did that, didn't help. I did find something that has fixed it so far. Somewhere in the settings.cfg file theres a setting that disabled the update feature of the game. After I set that from true to false it's not crashed yet.

Im glad to see you fixed it....For future referance is that settings.cfg file part of KSP program or Steam?

settings.cfg in the KSP game folder.

I changed the CHECK_FOR_UPDATES = True to False

No crashes yet.

You sir are a legend!.. fixed my crashes (so far).. I thought it was an issue with the Unity engine and my AntiVirus.. but that seems to have done the job for me.. Mucho Gracias!
