Why do Kerbals have orange space-suit inside cockpit..

The orange suit is just a normal indoor suit. Outside they have a white pressure suit to protect the kerbans agains the fearsome emty space. Just like real astronauts

Also take note that only the ORIGINAL 3 Kerbals have orange flight suits. Jeb, Bill, and Bob. These are the original 3 from early early in alpha.

Ah ha! I've been searching around to find out why they have different color shirts. I've basically decided that the orange jump suit Kerbals are my commanders/ ranking officers for missions and the white suits are scientists/engineers.

The SK-1 was the first spacesuit to be worn by a human in space. It is orange. I think Squad are tipping their hats to the early Russian space pioneers who wore this suit by making just the original trio this color.
