Can you switch ships?
I launched a rocket and then got it to orbit, then went to the space center and launched another into orbit. How do you switch between the two orbiting rockets??

If i'm not mistaken the [] only works when in a certain range of the ship If you use the tracking station you can access all your ongoing flights.
Use the tracking station also you should get some of the mods

the "[]" don't work if you're too far away, or moving over ground, in atmosphere etc. It's a bit buggy
The far away and in atmosphere are on purpose. In atmosphere you generally need to be paying attention to that flight until its safely in an orbit. Far away is a side result of it being put in so you could switch back and forth for docking. Before docking we had to go to the tracking station for everything. Before that.....there was no tracking station....but that was a while ago.
i have been playing for a few hours and finally made it into orbit but it kept going and is now in orbit aound some other planet so much for landing on the mun also it out of fuel
You just did a Mun shot. We slingshot things around other planets and moons all the time for speed boosts For instance, Voyager was slingshotted around Jupiter AND Saturn to become what is the fastest man made vehicle ever. :)

Note that to be able to save the game, and therby get back into the tracking station via your space base, you need to have the thottle off in your ship. It wont allow you the save the game if you dont and if you dont save it it doesnt allow you to leave the flight running and exit back to the space base.

I use a Nordic (swedish) keyboard and i can't use the [] keys to switch ship at all! Is there some way to make it work by maybe editing the controlls (i haven't found any keybinding options for it though)? Thanks in advance!

You can change these keybindings when you select 'settings' in the main menu.
Then choose the tabs 'Input' and 'Misc'.
Scroll down a bit and you're there. :)

Sometimes, [] don't work, if they don't, try ^
Also, if you want to switch to a very far ship, just go to the map, right click on it and press Switch To!

Thank you! I didn't find it cause it was changed to a strange button i didn't knw of (not the [] in this case)
When you press the "A" key on a US QWERTY keyboard, the code sent to the computer does not mean "the 'A' was pressed" but instead means "the leftmost key of the middle alphabet row was pressed" and it's up to the keyboard driver in the OS to interpret that as "A". (Which is why it's possible to change to a DVORAK layout with just a software change without having to buy a new keyboard.)

But video games typically ignore that layer and just look at the very raw low-level keycodes. Especially since they want to avoid using all the buffering and type-ahead features of the keyboard driver.

So the key probably does exist on your keyboard but it's hard to figure out which one it is if the printed symbol on your keyboard looks different from the "[" that was meant. Search online for a picture of a typical US keybaord layout, find the "[" and "]" keys there (they'll be in the top alphabet row (the "QWERTY" row), but all the way over on the righthand end) and then look at your own keybaord to see which keys are in roughly the same position.
