Also, not 100% sure, but I think that back thing that comes before the engine doesn't count as an intake. Remove it and add those radial pipe-like intakes, I believe in the aero tab. Try again with the wheels and those intakes.
(I know you said you have intakes... but it doesn't look like you do - that engine body only provides cooling for the engine.)
I've had jet engines spark and then not start until they got solars.
You're right, the Radial Engine Body doesn't provide any intake, i thought it did (looks like it does) thanks :)
The other one does, the nacelle, but even that one's not as efficient as the named intakes. Anyways, you're welcome. :)
Then you can match up what a part needs, with the right amount of parts that produce those needs. Be it electricity, intake air, or fuels. If you right click the part ingame it will tell you info aswell. If its not working, it will say what it is deprived of.
Why did you necro a 2013 thread?
Planes don't need solar panels or batteries. The cockpit comes with a trickle of electricity, and the engines produce electricity. As well, even if electricity runs out, you can just start the engines up and you'll have electricity again.
