Unable to update (Fixed)

Getting multiple errors and have changed download region, cleared cache and even tried reverting to a beta but no dice on all of it

Errors range from "Data Still Encrypted' to "No Internet" or even just "Download Failed"

some say to change region from Steam settings and try to update, some say to change version from properties of KSP in the library. I dunno either works to be honest.

I've figured my fix was reinstalling the game. Don't forget to backup your saves and ship designs if you'll reinstall.

I did Steam > Settings > Downloads > Change Download Region to something else and then restart Steam. This fixed it for me. Trying to reinstall just left the game uninstalled with me being unable to reinstall it before changing the region.

After uninstalling the game, you need to completely exit Steam. Upon restart, reinstalling the game fixes the issue that never should have happened.

Did that, didn't work. There's several issues going on it seems, considering the various number of fixes for the issue.

The update finally went though, no more PD launcher and none of the above fixed it... it just fixed itself

Mine still hasn't gone through even after installing other games it was in the line up but just bounced. Maybe it waiting the number of days since you last played. I haven't played in 6 months maybe so I've got a while.

Does not matter, KSP is dead, and will stay dead.It has not had an update in years except to the launcher to try and sell you other games from a failed developer. KSP2 used the same code as a start and surprise, surprise, it failed utterly.

Dead? That is going far. Finished is more like it, even though there was a bunch of things that could still be done with KSP.
