cant zoom in and out

cant use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out i know you can use +- but its too slow. i have mods but ive had them for awhile now and this just happened today

Is the issue specific to the VAB/SPH or also Map or just map?

Have you played with the launcher?
Do you bypass the launcher?

Have you not played since the update?

Cool, thanks for the info.. no update yesterday so if you played fine with the launcher I don't expect anything should have changed.

Other than that there is an issue with using mods and the launcher.

There is a "proper" way to play with mods and the launcher but you need a mod for that that basically adds a launcher fake or something? I don't mod so I didn't get into the specifics of it but I did put it in my guide on how to bypass the launcher.

Not sure but I think modding and the launcher don't mix well? I put the forum discussion parts in the guide where the poster added links for further detail on the main website.

have not tried to bypassing steam as for the mouse its brand new only time it dont work is in game however it will work if i do shift tab have tried a new game and a unmodded new game i think i will try again tho, you can turn off the launcher but i forgot how i will see if everything you said works for me

Did you set up anything with the mouseware since you played last?

Any new overlay programs that might be stealing the mouse input?

OH WAIT do you use multiple monitors by chance?

No have a laptop right now plan i getting a new PC. No overlay programs. No did not set up anything with the mouseware since ive played last. i have a logic tech mouse only thing i need to do is plug the wireless thing to the PC and im done

Yeah other than maybe the game save bugged out... if new save works you know it's that.

Maybe mods but you can check that too.

Maybe just unplug and replug in the mouse thing while in game? Pulling at straws here but you know unplugging and replugging can do miracles. ha ha

Arrow keys still move the camera. yes it work on other apps. caps lock off scroll lock off. function key cant toggle on or off its hold so no.

If unplugging does not work, can you try your old mouse?

Other than that I would suggest a clean install.

Uninstall will not remove corrupted files or files it does not recognize.
Manually move the file away from steam and have steam create a new install and test that.

Not sure what to suggest after that.

Im doing a clean install right now as for a trying my old mouse it may or may not have died.

after a clean install it now work thank you so much i was losing my mind
