Kerbal Space Program

AI ship mod
Does anyone one know if there is a plugin that adds AI control for other ships and kerbals?

Well, mechjeb allows you to set objectives for a ship to do, like focus on prograde, edit your orbit inclination, intercept a target, dock, show d/v, etc. I think kOS allows you to program this yourself.

I know about auto-pilot mods, what i'm asking is there a mod that controls ships while you are not? For example, your flying one ship while the other ship is being flown automatically by AI.

No. Unless you boost physics range with the Lazor mod (iirc), everything outside two klicks of your current vessel will be put on rails and won't be subject to physics, so an autopilot or AI would be totally ineffective.

The only way Life Support mods are able to work passively on vessels (i.e. while you're somewhere else) is by logging how much of each resource you're using during that timeframe and then loading it all up at once when you switch back to that vessel. As you can guess, this doesn't work with physics-based AIs.

Lazor systems increases the physics range?

I think so. It'll probably be on the mod development thread, if anywhere. Last time I used Lazor was back in 0.20, and even then, I only saw other people making use of the physics range. Didn't wanna mess around with that c:
