How do I deploy my landing gear?
I have to manually do each leg, is there a way to set a stage for it?

There's a button next to the altimeter that deploys all landing legs when pressed. The 'G' key also works. If you only want to deploy some landing legs, an action group would be the best way to do it.

Thanks!

Yith. G is the keybind for landing gear. There is also B for brakes (on wheels) and U for lights. See those three buttons on the right side of your top-centre UI element? Those work too. I'm fairly confident you can rebind all of these, but I don't know why you would need to.

Yeah, I figured lights and brakes but never new what gears were since I just got landing equipment.

If anyone is still watching this I actually have a question about the key bindings for these sorts of things. Some times when I assign something to one of the number keys above the QWERTY keyboard or just have lights automatically assigned to 'L' they wont activate. Or they will require me to hit the button twice to get them to work. Any ideas as to waht I'm doing wrong?

The number keys on the top of the keyboard are the default action group keys (Set in VAB/SPH) the "L" key is default to RCS (Thruster) movement, "I" UP, "J" Left, "K" Down, "L" right, "H" Foreward, "N" Reverse are used for docking manuevers. assigning them to be something else will cause problems when docking.

Oh! I just assumed L was lights. What key is assigned to lights?

Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don't. For landing legs, I believe so.

The problem with "G" for landing gear is that it's set for spaceplanes, they start with the gear down.
The first press after launching retracts gear, then press again to lower, after the 2nd press it will toggle position with 1 press.
