Taskbar blocking many key components

Very, very bad issue with my game. I have been wanting to play this game for so long and so far it's just being a waste of money. Why? My taskbar is blocking several important things, like the symmetry counter and even the settings "Apply" button! I really need some help on this one...it is just a problem with Windows 8 computers?

Right-Click on taskbar...properties...auto-hide taskbar.
Maybe try playing in fullscreen if its an issue.

Perhaps fullscreen the game in the options, instead of maximising the window? Also no, windows 8 is compatible with like 98% of things that Windows 7 is compatible with, it kind of gets anoying when people blame windows 8 for everything.

hit alt+enter to force it into full screen.. My game always launches minimized stretched between my 2 monitors for some reason even though I have fullscreen checked in the options.

Because Unity has issues with multiple monitors...more so if ya have software for dealing with multiple displays.

Yeah, pretty much.

You can always auto-hide the taskbar once as Syd states the first post, go into your options, and change it to full screen, then accept the changes. Re-enable your taskbar after that, and you shouldn't need to do it again, unless you change your options or reinstall the game.
