Co-op and Multiplayer + first person?
Hey all, Bloodaxe here!

I've been playing KSP with my little brother using the Dark Multiplayer mod.The way we play is that he is mission control, and I am the pilot.

He sits at his computer, and he can use the "map" view to give me directions and information about my orbit. I have to sit inside my spaceship and I'm supposed to only be able to control the game in First Person mode.

Now, this works fine when you're just trying to get into orbit. However, for some actions I have to exit the first-person perspective (like undocking a second time, targeting a docking collar). Also, when I go EVA I am forced to play in 3rd person (I have a 1st person mod, but it sucks).

Additionally, the DMP-mod has a safety-bubble feature, hindering my brother from seeing me until I've left the atmosphere. Also it's buggy...

I guess my questions are: Are the devs planning on adding integrated multiplayer support? And if so, how in-depth can two players co-operate? Are they also planning on adding a First-Person mode, or will I be forever stuck with player mods on that one?

It's in the FAQ:
Q: The thought of Multiplayer KSP is making me salivate, is this a planned feature?
A: Squad do now have plans to add multiplayer to KSP though there is no ETA on this, and a number of add-ons have been made that add multiplayer aspects.

No news on how it's going to look, though.
