how to install mechjeb

how do i install mechjeb everytimr i go into the game it doesn't work. Im running the lattest version of 1.0.2.842. please help thanks.

you put it in the gamedata folder? It should read like: "gamedata/mechjeb"

Extract the .zip file you downloaded to the GameData folder within your KSP install.
Alternatively, if you've having trouble installing mods there's a great mod manager called CKAN, which does all the work for you. Check it out over here:

It says that but it works fine. Make sure you also put a mechjeb console part onto your ship (located under command and control tab).

See if it works anyway. I don't have any problems with it. However, I'm currently using dev version #442 of MechJeb. The dev versions can be found here:

do a google search for "Jenkins MechJeb" and you can download the daily developer build (and see if it is green/good or red/bad build)

Didn't know that it actually worked! I just delete it after it says its not compatible. I'll have to try again...
