Rocket falling over on launch pad since patches?
I last played before the 1.01 and .02 patches, and my rocket worked fine to get into orbit. Now when I launch it tips over on the launch pad before I can launch? I do not have the science yet to get the support things to hold it up what am I supposed to do?

Chances are your TWR is to low. In other words you dont have enough power vs the wieght of your craft. Can you please post screenshots.

What I don't get is it was fine previously.. Also as soon as I hit 10km now it instantly just starts flipping, even when I tried holding off the gravity turn.. Not liking the hotfixes.

In the hangar screen load the rocket then re-save the rocket. Then load again and try a launch.
It fixed that issue on one of my older 1.0 designs.

Now you included the screen shot --- Thats a gimbling engine try placing a stack seperator under it for stability and have it in the first staging

I thought you meant you couldn't get it off the launch pad. if it's flipping in the air its beacuse you havn't put control surfaces on it, that is, you need to put fins and the base of your rocket.

Tried that, and it does delay it a second but it still falls over. Guess I will have to design a rocket with solid boosters on each side or something for better balance?

It is falling over on the launch pad still, but if I immediately hit z and spacebar I can get it to launch before it falls to far over. It still messes up my launch a little though as it's angled to the left slightly. I tried fins, but that falling over causes it to just keep going the direction it was falling and I cannot turn it at all to correct it to go straight up.

Its odd - i just rebuilt your design from the pic and it didnt tip over. Try this ... Go to the main screen in game and speed time to the next day then go to launch..
eye sea no controll surfaces on your rocket, and i don't think tourque alone from the pod is enough to controll it from flipping. try adding small fins in the 8 pattern raddid formation around the center of mass of the rocket. also, just check to make sure your centre of lift is in line with your centre of mass as it will greatly improve stability issues by doing just that. wish i could help more :s

Very odd indeed. I just started a new template and rebuilt it and now it's working fine...

But I like my pole lol. Yea I got it working great now, but apparently parachutes burn up now lol. Guess I will have to launch it lower in the atmosphere.
