However, there's a mod called Achievements that adds in-game achievements, and there's also one called Final Frontier that adds achievement medals for individual Kerbals (ex. landing on the Mun, being in orbit around Jool, et cetera).
Except it's not a Sandbox anymore. And there is a popular mod that adds achievements.
Achievements aren't about "winning"; they're about setting goals or considering different ways of doing things. Sometimes they are downright wacky. People try to downplay them, but obviously they are popular.
We all know what this is really about - not wanting to give Steam owners something not available to non-steam owners.
