What or where is the "ap symbol" in the orbit map in the flight basics Tutorial
this is likely a rookie question but wondering what the flight basics tutorial in the 1.0 release means when it tell you to pres the "ap symbol" and warp here as all im seeing that looks like ap icons a a i and a kerbal on the right middle side, the nav ball, the menu to switch to staging docking and the map, and the clock at the top with the warp button greyed out .

Apoapsis. It'll be at the apex of your orbit when you're in orbital mode (Press M and follow the line).

There should be another symbol like "fast forward" nearby the apoapsis, to warp time until you reach it.
The game ask you to click it but yeah, you're right, there is no fast forward icon and you cant warp time. It is a bug I guess.

If your playing in career you will need to update the traking startion to reviel more information on the map view (M key to toggle). Ap (Apoapsis) is the highist point of your orbit, Pe (periapsis) is the lowest. next to the Ap or Pe symbols there should be a [>>] button, this will fast faward your game until you next get to that point.

The moment the instructor tells you to aim for the horizon do that and keep it there until 50,000m. That's when he tell you to warp to the AP symbol.

Press X to stop thrusters then press M to open your map and zoom and rotate a bit so you can see the blue orbit line clearly. Click your mouse on the blue line close to the marker and a popup will appear with a Warp option. Click that and wait a bit till warp is finished.

Now throttle up a bit (press Shift) and alight with the green marker then full power (press Z). If you did it right the blue orbit line will extend to make a circle around the planet.

You might need to practice the timings a bit. Took me a long time to get this right. Good luck!
