Need help with unmanned rockets (SAS)
It won't let me enable SAS, even though I've attached an SAS moduel, including the advanced inline stabilizer.

The Advanced Inline Reaction wheel is not SAS, it is a reaction wheel. SAS is the system that uses reaction wheels, RCS and engine gimballing. Most probe cores have it to varying extents. The Stayputnik does not.

So, if I use the Stayputnik with a SAS moduel it still will not have SAS?

Do you have sufficient power or electrical storage/production?

Yes

The only thing seperating the two moduels from the Stayputnik and the SAS is a stack decoupler

thats odd. I don't know what it could be then. :KOh:

There is no SAS modual. You have sas in the command modules or remote control modules. But there is none in a stayputnik.

The reaction wheels you add on don't add SAS to your craft, they add more power to the SAS module to control your craft. To stop wobbling etc on larger craft.

Right click on a probe control unit in the list of parts to see what SAS features it offers
