What is terminal velocity on Kerbin?
I'm a bit confused with my calculations, above 10km, what is the terminal velocity? Is it 240, or 268?

Terminal velocity is quite dependent on the amount of drag your vessel has. Do you mean escape velocity?

depends on your vessel, but im sure i can go 300 m/s at 5500 m it seems too low

EDIT just took notes on my start:
at 1500 m you can go 225 m/s
at 3000 m you can go 260 m/s
at 5750 m you can go 280 m/s
at 8000 m you can go 280 m/s
at 10000 m you can go 285 m/s

this is with my vessel which has lots of drag hope it helped

Hm, how can I find the total drag of my vessel?

It depends not only on the craft's part's drag values, but the shape the craft is as well. Much like in real life, a feather will fall faster if dropped edge-on than it will if dropped flat. So too will a narrow, aerodynamic craft have a higher terminal velocity.

If you get the Kerbal Engineer Mod, one of the stats is "Atmospheric Efficiency". 100% is terminal velocity at that altitude.
