The biome scanner gives you an X mark (you can turn them on and off, and change the icon). To pin down the name of the anomaly as it is in the game files, e.g. ArmstrongMemorial, use the extremely short-range BTDT scanner.

It is a fun mod indeed. One I highely recommend. It actually givs you a reason to send a sattilite to a planet. It also works in career mode and it is pretty well balanced with the science it aquires.

so wait, once i use the multispecral sensor that will find the anomalies on the scansat map, than i have to use the btdt scanner and the scanner will show them on my stock in game map?
because i can see them on the scansat map,but i want them to show on my stock map so ican go there and land in that area

You can't. You just can't.

BTDT will name the anomaly on the SCANSAT map.
than how can i land in the zone near the anomalies?is there some kinda way to land near the zone in the most easy way?

MechJeb. Landing autopilot. Input the acquired longitude and latitude data, hit "Land at Target", and go out for coffee.

Otherwise you have to somehow pick your bearings on the standard map. I occasionnaly still use MechJeb's target indicator for that.

Anomalies appear on the big map as you scan from a polar 250km altitude with the Biome anomaly scanner.

You can right click an area in the SCANSat big map to zoom in. Clicking further inside the small pop up map that appears will zoom in more. When you get close to the anomaly, your flight path will also be visible on the zoomed big map. Put a BTDT scanner on your anomaly visitation craft and fly near the anomaly. In the small SCANSat map you can click instruments. That will tell your exact distance from the anomaly to the meter, allowing you to (walk, roll, fly, bounce??) right to it.

Be advised. Some anomalies are now underground.

Hope this helps.
