Md-air gravity scan?

I got a contract to do a gravity reading at 17,100 but when I click the unit it says that the scan cannot be done right now. Hayelp!

Not the first time TODAY we hear of an undoable contract, such as activating an engine in a 10.7 km orbit around Jool.

Here's a question then. I've managed to complete 2/3 on this contract. Obv the final part is impossible so if I decline it now will I lose the 2 parts that I managed to complete?

You get the individual rewards, but won't get the final mission reward and you'll take the rep and money hit from aborting the contract.

I recommend you don't cancel it right away and wait for it to tick out.
