how to use mechjeb? Im really confused here
How do I put it to go autopilot into orbit?

Did you place the mechjeb part on your rocket?

yes, but now it shows a window but I really don't know what to do with the options....

my mechjeb only gives me infos...like orbit info and so on...no windows to put values or anything else

what happens is, as soon as I go to launch i get that mechjeb window on the right of the screen, when I open it it gives me options like,


custom window editor
settings
smart ass
delta v stats
orbit info
surface info
vessel info

theres a thing that says click to edit but when I do it says no target

have you installed it correctly? Sorry to ask but thats all what i know right now.

And, importand, do you use sandbox mode or carrer?
In career, you have to research the modules first to have acces to more MJ-features.
In sandbox, you have everything from start.

Definitely sounds like Career. Which means you're missing a lot of functions.

The launch autopilot is the Ascent Guidance section.

If your playing in career mode (and have to agree with Dennis....sure sounds like you are) when you first unlock the AR202 module it has almost no functionality.
Each function of MechJeb has a coresponding tech node you need to unlock before using said function.

An example from the Config file:
"MechJebModuleManeuverPlanner { unlockTechs = advFlightControl }"
There is an entry like this for each of MechJebs features that will tell you what node to unlock.

Also, just to be sure you need to start a sandbox game and put MJ on pod and launch, see if you have full functionality.
If your still missing option in sandbox game then you have it installed wrong.
