The video and the following one prove that it is possible to get a heavy craft into low Kerbin orbit with only 3500 Δv and a true "no steering" gravity turn which exceeds by a huge amount the usually stable velocites in atmosphere, just by adjusting the fuel tank balance to keep the shock drag forces from flipping the craft.
You get more satisfaction that way.
Scott Manley got Alot of experience with KSP.
I don't have that kind of time so copying and adapting designs/ideas is a good option
Made a plane without even checking the CoM and CoL
Plane was able to do flips without losing more than 15m/s of speed and was basically the greatest stunt plane i've ever made
Threw fist in the air and cheered.
EDIT: Here's the plane, for those wondering http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=457615871
So you're saying that you've never been inspired by anyone else's designs or copied anyone else's ideas. You, sir, are a saint ... or just a blatant hypocrite who happens to hate Scott Manley and can't stop pointing it out to everyone.
My teachers famous word, You beg borrow and steal.
Don't remember who He stole them from.
Why do YOU get so upset that I don't like him?
It's ok to like him, I've said before I used too. Things change....
DO NOT POST ON ANY FORUMS IF YOU CAN'T DEAL WITH OTHERS OPINIONS!
I'm not the least bit upset that you don't like Scott Manley. To each his own. But you go out of your way to post in threads with Scott Manley in the title and you do so expecting a response. Otherwise why post in those threads at all? You have many other threads which don't involve Scott Manley in which to post your opinions. And yet, here you are in a thread about him. Posting your opinions.
When those opinions amount to nothing more than thinly veiled insults of other people here, as in the below quote, then I'll take exception to it. You went out of your way to make a rather patronizing and insulting post in a thread specifically about Scott Manley, even though you have stated that you don't like him. Why come here to post at all? And to do so in such an insulting way is just asking for a response. You shouldn't then complain about that response. That's like screaming "Kick me!" and then whining when someone obliges.
where did we go wrong
