How to build a rover?
So I have finally gotten to the point in KSP were I don't suck anymore and my rockets don't explode before 10,000m. I want to go ahead and build a rover. I have tried numerous designs, but I think I am missing some key parts people use from the Composites tech. What could I use instead of the M-2x2 and M-1x1 panels?

Majority of those rovers have parts I don't have yet :S

That's the part with a small electrical storage capacity in the middle with the small construction cubes out of the corners and wheels on those (tip, use the x2 symetry rather than x4 sometimes when adding wheels). This rover made a 50km back and forth trip on laythe across hills etc so it's rather good imo.

Other than that, low center of gravity is key in my opinion.

Went to grab a drink, didn't see this. Checking it out now.

Could you take a picture of it in the VAB/SPH please?

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=259019583- Closest I can get to a rover.
Doubt it would even work.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. It will definitely work on Kerbin (made something similar by chance today ;)) - on Mun it might work well enough and on anything with more gravity than Mun as well.

Minmus is generally very rover-unfriendly... in my experience at least, but there are rover experts lurking here who will surely get back to you :)

I just want to make one in general. Finally grasped the few things that prevent all my missions from catastrophic failure. I really want to send a few Kerbals to either Duna or Eve, but I'm not sure which is easier. I don't need a rover when I go, but I really want one to ease the pain in walking/RCS'ing. Thanks though!

Also, I have to figure out how to get it there...

Go to Duna, its easy to reach and the gravity on Duna is around the same as on Mun so if you can land on the latter, you should be fine for the former.

edit to add: bring more fuel to Duna though :)

How would I get my rover there? I was thinking the Clamp-O-Trons
