Kerbal Space Program

can you refuel mono propelent?
i am making a base on the moon i have a good bit of things there including my giant rover i use to retrieve things after they land but now is the biggest problem because my rover is out of feul it can only use battery charges but that is not good enough to go up hills while carrying other things i land on the moon the rover i use it as a tow truck because i suck at landing things in the right spot i am usually of by 20-50km i was wondering if there is someone kind of building i can make that can transfer fuel to my rover when it needs it it took me around 10 hours to land that rover there is mono propelent can i send in a few tanks of proopelent and transfer it there? and if so anyone have an idea how to make something to do this

you need a ship with monopropelent to dock with your base to transfer the monoprop

you need KAS mod to do it easyly, if you don't want it you w<ill need to make docking from under the main base refuelling tank as i tried once, this is not a very good way to do it but it is the only solution in stock parts.

the good thing with KAS is you can add manually fuel dock directly with your Kerbal while on EVA, and then you will be able to plug some pipe to it and refuel.

i made a nice rocket that gets about anything to the moon with ease so if i bring a lot of mono propelent with a dock this will work? i think i should make a parking garage with this

In vanilla, you can transfer prop between docked vehicles same as liquid fuel. With the KAS mod, it's enough to have them near each other, and kerbals on EVA are able to plug in fuel lines and refuel like you do at a gas station.
I dont know how to use mods so i have to dock it the original way

Installing a mod is easier than doing most things in Kerbal. Normally the ones on KerbalSpaceport explain how to do it... which usually boil down to "extract the files to "\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\".

Once you start with them your imagination will usually drag you in to adding more and more over time, since some of them add so much to the game. Modders FTW! :D:

Try to use the bigest monoprop tanks you reasonbly can on both vessels. Using stock to transfer fuels can be tedious Especially if you use lots of the little tiny roundified ones like I do. If you get into mods TAC fuel balancer will make life easy, refueling anything.

Once docked hold "alt" and right-click both tanks you want to transfer to/from.

KAS mod get the 2.5 compatible version and you can get Jeb to plug a pipe into one ship or fuel car and plug the other end into the other ship use TAC Fuel ballancer mod to transfer any resource through the pipe to any tank on your ship. These mods can also move TAC Life support resorces from one ship to another.

yes, but you need to dock them together.

You can, but make sure your 2 ships are connected (KAS or docking is usally how you transfer)
