Double-C Seismic Accelerometer - how to use ?
Hey ;)

kerbal Wiki says the Double-C Seismic Accelerometer can be used to control acceleration on the stages.
Anyone knows how this is done ?

I tried putting in on the side of thrusters, and various other locations, but the only options i get from the thing is "toggle display" and log (science points) ?

It helps you read how much you are accelerating. That, and it gives you science in career mode if you take logs on a planet surface.

Dunno where you got "controls acceleration"

Just read the article in question. They mean that you can have better control over the acceleration of your rockets during ascent, mainly because it's more accurate than the g-meter next to the navball. This is because if you go too fast in atmosphere, you lose (too much) energy to drag.

rene is correct; reading the display allows you to have better control, it doesn't do anything by itself.

in this sense, it helps you by providing information, just like lights help you landing in the dark, they also dont do anything, but they provide valuable information

thanks, i thought so ^^
I only know the altitude/velocity table so far that just gives optimal velocities for different heights. So, is there an optimal G-force value to go for ?
