Engine shuts off before fuel runs out
I built a rocket using an MK3 fuselage, then attaching it to a Mammoth engine using an MK3 to 3m adaptor. However around 20 seconds into the flight the engine cuts off even though the fuel isn't even half used up. Any idea what's causing this?

Jet fuel in tanks on ship?, rocket fuel tank adapter?, rocket engine shuts off after LOX (liquid Oxygen) runs out?

Can you do screen shots of the fuel display upper right showing, check your LOX/Fuel ratio...

Here's a screenshots of when the engine cuts out.

Also I don't see a decoupler on the side tanks are they expected to decouple?
(sorry just spotted decouplers in VAB shot, down low)
VAB shot shows short/stunted fuel lines to the bottom adapter above the engine, check your fuel lines...

3rd screen shot looks like first, did you post the correct one?

Those fuel likes were simply an attempt to fix the problem. Shouldn't the fuel flow through the adapter anyway since itself is a fuselage?

Acording to SQUAD an engine draws fuel from the FARTHEST tank attached to it, directly or through fuel lines.(decouplers and a few other things block fuel flow)

check your fuel tanks and see which tanks the engines are drawing from. (upper right, ship info panel [looks like a gas tank with a flame] right click on the fuel and lox there and it should bring up fuel/lox diaplays for all tanks)

According to the 4th screen shot, if you look at the fuel display upper right, you have a JET fuel tank (Fuel NO LOX) in there somewhere, all ROCKET fuel tanks are balanced so that the fuel/lox gauges drop at the same time...
In the VAB right click the fuel tanks and see if they are all FULL up on both fuel AND LOX.

Problem solved. I replaced the "Liquid fuel" fuselage with the "Rocket fuel" one. Thanks for the help.

as a test remove the outer booster tanks and see what happens.

Another trick is to detach everything below the capsule in the VAB, put it down, pick it up again and re-attach, EXAMINE SHIP AND STAGING!.
sometimes fuel lines and struts get attached weird when going to launch pad, detaching and re-attaching in VAB should let you see what will happen to those when putting rocket on launch pad.

Could possibly be a mod malfunction if you have any installed or a shortage of fuel or oxidizer. I've had the same problem, just don't use spaceplane parts with rockets, because problems like this can occur.
