What is escape trajectory?
I make missions in Kerbal. In two missions I need to test engine. There are 2 quest to test.

1. Test engine in fly
2. Test engine in escape trajectory

I can't finnish secound quest. What I have to done?

An escape trajectory is one that will leave the current bodies (Kerbin in this case) Sphere of Influence (SOI). It happnes when you are going too fast for its gravity to keep you in orbit (which is always the case when you first enter an SOI!).

To complete that mission you must be heading out into the Sun's SOI (but still within Kerbin's) when you test the engine.

get in orbit and burn prograde enough to get into escape trajectory off of Kerbin, run the test, burn retrograde.

So I need to orbit around Kerbin and come back? I understood corectly?

Basically it means, the same trajectory that you would use to enter the orbit of the sun. Like you leave the kerbin system.

Escape Trajectory - is to leave Kerbins Sphere of influence.
ie to escape Kerbin
ie your orbit switches from orbiting Kerbin to one that orbits the Sun.

Be carefull when accepting missions to test things while on an escape trajectory as they usually cost you more than the reward. Even when you want to send a mission to another planet the thing the random mission generator wants you to test is problematic to incorporate into your mission. eg test a Rhino engine while on escape trajectory via the staging sequence.
