I do land safe and sound back on Kerbin.
Depends on what you are landing. It might be rolling on or sliding down the terrain ever so slightly.
I've landed both in water and on flat land, same result.
I was wondering whether it might be a missing feature in the demo, the build is 0.18.3. On the other hand, it was thinking it seemed strange for the developers to not include any way of finishing a mission right from the start, demo or otherwise?
It's 0.18, but the rest is probably spot on. In earlier versions, there wasn't "recover ship", but "end mission".
krulvesen, you might want to try the demo directly from https://kerbalspaceprogram.com/ . I've heard the demo you can download there is more up to date. There was talk of an updated demo at 1.0 release, but I never bothered to check if it was just planned or actually done.
Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely take a look. Pretty sure I'll end up buying the thing anyway, but my wallet says to hold out for a Steam sale.
Probably? PROBABLY?!?!
There is no probably. You will.
I speak from experience, I played the demo for more than 40 hours before buying the full game earlier this year... Now... 600+ hours later...
If you're enjoying the demo you'll need some tissues and new pants WHEN you get the full game.
You paint quite a picture. Not gonna argue, it's a possiblity. Thanks for the heads up!
